Collective Insurance Policy

Collective Insurance Policy

Spectrumlabs S.A., as part of its employee benefits and workforce support framework, provides employees with the opportunity to participate in a group private health insurance programme, subject to the eligibility conditions applicable from time to time. According to the Company Employee Manual, eligibility is available after completion of six (6) months of continuous employment. The purpose of this Policy is to define the basic principles governing the provision and administration of group insurance, without replacing the terms, benefits, limits or exclusions of the insurance policy in force at any given time.

  • Providing access to the group insurance programme in a consistent and objective manner to employees who meet the eligibility criteria applicable under the Company rules and the insurance programme.
  • Informing eligible employees about the opportunity to enrol, the main benefits and how to access programme services, based on the official information provided by the applicable insurance provider.
  • Insurance benefits, insured amounts, reimbursement limits, deductibles, exclusions, pre-approval and reimbursement procedures and any other specific conditions are determined exclusively by the group insurance policy in force and its official supporting documentation.
  • The Company may renew, amend or replace the group insurance programme, insurance provider or individual terms of the benefit in accordance with business needs and the terms of the applicable insurance contract, with appropriate communication to employees where required.
  • Participation in and use of insurance benefits shall be carried out in accordance with the procedures and conditions communicated by the Company and the insurance provider.
  • Personal data and, where required, health data relating to enrolment in or use of the programme shall be handled only to the extent necessary and in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation and the Company’s relevant policies.
  • Employees are expected to provide accurate and complete information where required for enrolment or service and to follow the insurance provider’s instructions regarding requests, approvals and reimbursement claims.
  • Group insurance is an employee benefit and does not replace social insurance, statutory benefits or other obligations arising under applicable legislation.
  • The Company monitors the administration of the benefit and ensures timely communication of material changes affecting eligible employees.
